Yes...I had a hysterectomy 11 days ago and had to have a vertical incsion because my fibroids came up all the way behind my belly button. I've always had a jelly belly since delivering my 10.6 pound daughter 12 years ago so it was a mussy stomach but right behind my belly button it was hard as a rock on both side. Turns out some of my fibroids had settled there. Now I have hollow looking sunk in parts on my belly. Weird!!! I had a uterus the size of a 5 month pregnancy. Before the surgery, it used to hurt to hold in my stomach.

From articleFor the last year and a half, my stomach is swollen and looks like I am 3 months pregnant. I have severe abdominal pain. It hurts to sit, bend down etc... Has anyone heard of these symptoms or has experienced anything like this.-Kristin
