[p]Although I don't have answer directly from a specialist on fibroids, I did some searching and it seems like the norm for things considered "heavy" is between 20-25 pounds. At least, pregnant women are warned not to lift this much weight. Other also simply say that if you could comfortably lift it before your surgery, you can still lift it, but anything that would have cost extra energy, don't bother. If you are really concerned or confused, simply make a quick call to your physician and they will be able to better guide you. [/p]

I recently had a myomectomy (2.5weeks) and I have been wondering,. I have been told not to do any heavy lifting but I am really not sure what is heavy or not especially with things in the house. I really need a guide like is my laptop heavy. And also what are the consequences of lifting heavy things
